biography

Dr. Mohammad (Mo) Matthew Fakhri, a board-certified radiologist specializing in neuroradiology, has joined the Bay Imaging Consultants (BIC) team. With a notable stint as a clinical instructor at UCSF, he furthered his expertise at the respected Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology. Recognized as an National Institute of Health T32 research trainee, he also secured the RSNA Research Resident Grant in 2020.

Dr. Fakhri's focus encompasses functional brain imaging, presurgical cortex mapping, head and neck imaging, and CT-guided procedures. His groundbreaking work in fMRI for presurgical mapping at Brigham and Women's Hospital led to multiple publications and the Best Trainee Award at American Society of Neuroradiology in 2021. Dr. Fakhri's comprehensive skills significantly enrich the BIC team.
